JF 694 Posted March 29, 2014 Martin has hit 19 goals this season now after we let him walk away for free. I honestly don''t believe that RVW would consistently score goals in the Championship. I''m not saying Martin is the answer, but is there really £8.5 million difference in quality?
Juggy 0 Posted March 29, 2014 Becchio or RVW?Kamara or RVW?Holt or RVW?Morison or RVW?Could keep going really, would stop before Harry Kane though.

vlad666 202 Posted March 29, 2014 Expected so much more from Rvw. Looks like a kid playing mens football. Weak, slow, petulant with a terrible work rate. Cut our losses, admit the mistake and forget about him playing for the rest of the season. Even Redmond playing up front, at least we''ll have pace up front. kick it off 1,927 Posted March 29, 2014
No he didn''t.
Yes he did. Simeon got 1 goal in 13 appearances last season and 3 in 23 the season before. So that''s 4 in 36 Prem appearances. 1 goal per 9 Prem appearances. Ricky is currently on 21 games 1 goal.Simeon also probably offered a bit more to the team than RVW does most of the time too.
hobgoblin 0 Posted March 29, 2014 Sign him up, only 24 was let go too early! Will need him in the Championship!
SeattleCanary 0 Posted March 29, 2014
No he didn''t.
http://espnfc.com/player/_/id/148133/simeon-jackson?cc=5901Ok. So he scored one goal last season, and so far had more shots and shots on target. He got 3 goals in his first Premiership season, with 2 assists. Needless to say, he definitely hasn''t been outshone by RVW when apparently SJ wasn''t good enough for us according to many on here. What does that say about a shot-shy striker like RVW? It astounds me how some people make statements like that without looking at the facts! Clearly he did do more, as he came up with a couple of assists too even though he played a lesser role in the first team than RVW!Some people....
4th floor 4 Posted March 29, 2014 I remember people on here saying that Martin wasn''t any good even at Champs level, conveniently forgetting that he was injured for a large part of our promotion season. We''d have done better keeping him on as a squad player and spending the £8m on our midfield or defence.

Juggy 0 Posted March 29, 2014 Kei Kamara should have replaced Grant Holt.Becchio should have been played instead of signing Elmander.Hooper was the only number 9 we needed to sign to play alongside those two.Chris Martin could have been back up to Hooper. Then we could have spent £8m on a quality ball playing tempo dictating centre midfielder to give us what David Fox once did (without some of his limitations).
