team for westham

Recommended Posts

I think we need to attack them with pace when we have the ball, They don''t have much going foreword except nolan (and Jarvis when he''s up to it) so i''d stick tettey on him and go for the same lineup or put bennett in if he''s fit at CB. I would be tempted to put RVW on instead of Johnson, but he''s in such bad form and that midfield is pretty good (as long as BJ doesn''t try and pass more than 2m away)

Wasnt Hughtons post match comment it was a minor knock and Ricky was already coming on anyway?

I am expecting him to be fit anyway.

I''d be happy to see an unchanged line up, but I''d probably bring in Ricky for Johnson. The lad''s lacking confidence and needs time on the pitch, especially against a West Ham side who (without Carroll) will pack the midfield and put a lot of men behind the ball.

I think someone said that Howson resumes training this week - which is great news!

---------------RVW-------------------

So same as last time but swap the strikers. Hooper hasn''t scored in a while so RVW deserves a chance again now and if he can just get one I see him going on a run like Jackson did in 2011 which could save our season. Also I wouldn''t take any risk if he picked up a knock because it still might not happen for RVW and Hooper is the only striker who''s proven himself this year.
