AJ 1,218 Posted February 11, 2014 I know there''s been a lot of debate about this on here before, but an interesting stat from the BBC:Chris Hughton has made 60 substitutions in league games this season but not one of those changes has resulted in a goal or an assist. TCCANARY 263 Posted February 11, 2014 Not all substitutions made to score goals, there are many reason why a substitution is made.Do we know how many were made with the intention of getting a goal?
Barclay seats 4849 the 3rd 0 Posted February 11, 2014 I think that the relevance is ....we are the only team in all the leagues with this dubious distinction .
Juggy 0 Posted February 11, 2014 I said this a few weeks ago, same was true then. Only team in league not to have a substitute score a goal.
lake district canary 4,520 Posted February 11, 2014 There is no particular relevance in this at all. The team having been struggling for goals, whether its starters or subs that aren''t scoring. We''re just not scoring enough full stop.
AJ 1,218 Posted February 11, 2014 Exactly, it''s kind of shocking that we''ve scored so few goals this year given the money we''ve spent. On today''s evidence it''s not creating the chances that''s the problem. 2 clear chances there, should be two goals in this league.

AJ 1,218 Posted February 11, 2014 Apply face to palm. We need to score a goal so he takes off Hooper, replacing him with Elmander up top who does.. nothing.Seriously frustrated. Big Sam made the changes early enough to influence the game, Hughton did not.
Guest Posted February 11, 2014 To be fair, tonight it led to two goals. Both to West Ham.
Carra Rud 17 Posted February 11, 2014 Terrible lack of confidence in the team its like he can''t trust them... the problem is Hughton, its always been Hughton... the board are looking decidedly moronic keeping this useless tw@t at the club.Going down for sure. tele 0 Posted February 11, 2014 As soon as he took Redmond off tonight, you just knew what was coming.

Graham Paddons Beard 2,353 Posted February 11, 2014 Anyone hear Le Tissier comments about the NCFC substitutions tonight BEFORE West Ham scored? He was incredulous. I''ve had enough now. 2 pts from 12. Dreadfull decision tonight to sit on a nil nil. The board has to make a change after this. This team is better than the results suggest. Go and get Laudrup. Give him a million to keep us up.
Since 1980 27 Posted February 11, 2014 21:35: GOAL - West Ham 2-0 Norwich - Mohamed Diame (90 mins)And that will do that! Norwich have a corner, it''s cleared away and Mohamed Diame has the length of the pitch to run. He does too, squeezing off a shot which deflects into the corner of the heel of Bradley Johnson.
