Sorry to be so negative. Hard to be anything else at the moment but perhaps this is in the extreme, however it may not be long until it is a reality.

I think the team will be gutted if and when we go down, and there''ll be wholesale changes. What will/should happen in your opinion and what might our lineup look like?

Looking at that I''m thinking we would probably kill for Martin, Vaughan and Ayala in the champ.

How depressing it would be to lose so many players who COULD be a solid premier league team.

I would hope that we would invest a lot of the transfer fees we receive to sign some quality Championship players who could have potential in the top flight. Either way though it''s a huge step backwards, and one I can''t believe we haven''t done more to avoid.
