West Ham vs Norwich City match thread

Think we can keep the ball better.  Hooper and Fer could do with making it stick further up the pitch so we can push out.  At times West Ham were launching it a bit too frequently into our back four.On a more positive note, Yobo looks a bit good, doesn''t he.

Just looking at the half time highlights, Nathan Redmond has had a great game so far making several good decisions, good ball to snoddy and hoops for their respective chances, keep this up and we could come away with 3 points tonight.

Extremely satisfied with the performance tonight, it''s nice to be up and shouting with these decent chances.

There has to be a point where we stop being ''unlucky not to score'' and actually start doing the business, as it''s been an issue all season.Starting in the second half, the rot stops tonight, 2 or more goals please!!
We should be 2 up, simple as.

Snoddy simply has to score, why he hesitated I have no idea but in that amount of time and space at that level, you have to beat the keeper.

The second chance was unlucky, a great last ditch tackle to stop us getting a shot away.

The third however, if Tettey and got a bit more direction on it away from the keeper it should have been in.

That said, more of the same in the second half and we have to score eventually, right?
Except, and this is not a criticism, if you play only one up front then such chances as you get are often going to fall to non-strikers. There is a reason why we have scored so few goals this season. It is not some kind of freak - it is because of the way we tend to be set up.

Another good opening for Hooper.  No conversion.  But it''s good they''re still creating.

Have to disagree Purple. We have played 2 up top a lot this season and imo, we look better without it. Our strikers are not being that clinical either!

Which would make some sense if that''s how we''d been setup all season. We''ve played 4-4-2 in a number of games and looked as likely or less (IMO) than with one striker.

I much prefer one up front, providing someone gets forward from midfield. I was just pointing out that there is a  downside.
Why does snodgrass want to take every defender on??? Just cross the f-in ball!
the funny thing is that every set piece he takes is either a high wasted outswinger which hits no one in a norwich short OR just fails to clear the first man
