Devils Advocate. 0 Posted February 12, 2014 When it was revealed that the board did not fancy qualifying for the Europa League as it would cost more than it was worth. I wonder if secretly they have decided that it is not worth trying to remain a Premier league club?. We would slash the wage bill, the transfer fees would be lower, Parachute payments from Sky maybe even BT would help, Gate money would still flow in and a possible promotion campaign would be a hell of lot more attractive than a persistent battle against relegation ?
