Eadies Left, Hucks Right, Iwans Heed, Holts Laugh! 0 Posted February 13, 2014 Talking about staying at Bournemouth, fair play has done well there, just took part in the vote and would like him to stay especially if we do go down, woun''t happen though. Probably end up at Villa on a free in the summer, as Lambert got a decent 1st Prem season out of him.
can u sit down please 0 Posted February 13, 2014 Could play the holding midfield role well. Good eye for a pass, technically very good and reads the game well. But someone''s now going to say, he can''t tackle!
chicken 0 Posted February 14, 2014 Would be a waste of his ability going forward to play him as a holding midfielder. He''d be far better off in behind the striker as a creative player.
the pigman 0 Posted February 14, 2014 A bit lightweight but came up with a goal or two,no wonder hoots let him go out on loan.
GJP 79 Posted February 14, 2014 Good player and I''ve have been happy to see him here this season - though I can appreciate from his point of view he wanted a better chance of playing games. But from our point of view I think we''re a bit limited with our central midfield options. I''m sure most would agree that Tettey, Fer and Howson makes for a very good combination but we don''t have a lot to replace it or change it if necessary. Johnson competes but he just doesn''t do much with the ball. Surman covers the ground but he also gives you quality on the ball and there have certainly been times this season when we''ve missed that. Johnson is obviously stronger in the tackle but Surman keeps the ball better.
can u sit down please 0 Posted February 14, 2014 I do agree chicken but feel we need better in that role. He can keep the ball as well as anyone, there''s no reason he couldn''t be our Leon Britton
