Spuds Resting The Big Guns For Tomorrow

Recommended Posts

I was hoping a long trek across Europe would take it''s toll on some of their players, but it doesn''t look like that will happen...

I thought that about the Swansea game, but it was us who looked tired and lethargic, not them.

I''m sure Kyle Walker is happy to miss this game after the run around Konoplyanka gave him against Ukraine.

To be fair, everyone walks all over Walker. He isn''t good at defending at all. Russell Martin is easily better at defending.

I do agree that Walker isn''t the safest defender you''ll ever see but I''m not sure Martin is "easily" a better defender.

Europa League rules 6 of the previous games line up must play in tie. Cannot rest too many.

Can we have that ref from tonight please? Whoever he was he understood no-one had come to watch him, fakers were yellow carded and once the sides got the hang of it they understood they were allowed to tackle, cr@p pitch, good game - decided by the players; FA, Prem, preening whistlers etc please take note. Anyone know who we''ve got in the middle on Sunday?
Pawson only started his Premier League career March last year and has only officiated in 8 games. We''ll have to wait and see about this one...
Never produced a red or awarded a pen in a PL game....we''ll probably cop both..!!
