Canary Poirot 1 Posted May 1, 2005 I''ve just realised, 34 pts might even be enough to survive! It would be a long shot, but beat Brum and draw at Fulham we might just do it. IF:Palace and Saints draw, and neither win in their last games...Quite possibly...And WBA don''t get any sneaky points against Arsenal and Man UTd....Now that would be a nail biting last 10 mins if we''re drawing at Fulham, Palace are drawing at Charlton and Saints are drawing Utd....Too much to take!!! BedsCanary 0 Posted May 1, 2005 Southampton have won one game in the last six.Palace have won one game in the last eight.West Brom have won one game in the last five. With their appaling form and mounting pressure are these three teams really likely to win their last two games? Very doubtful. If we beat Birmingham next week we will be favourites to stay up.
Northern Canary 0 Posted May 1, 2005 I agree with Beds that we will be favourites if we win at Brum, but i do think we might need to beat Fulham too though. We may be able to do it
BedsCanary 0 Posted May 2, 2005 Well, who would you rather play on the last day of the season?Away to Charlton, home to Man Utd or away at Fulham?I know which I''d pick
ZLF 261 Posted May 3, 2005 Charlton away - they are awful at the moment; Fulham all depends on which one turns up as they are so inconsistent - definitely not man u who are coming to form with players wanting a cup final place.OTBC
