Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 29

Recommended Posts

Greetings PUPs and welcome to week 29 of the Rays Funds season. Here we

are coming into March already and well into the second half of our season.

Where does the time go? It’s been a great season so far and our winnings

already stand at £450. Hoping to add to that we have another top PUP this

weekend with Diesel Doris in charge and making the final selections. Diesel is

one of our most consistent PUPs this season with 22/29 (79%) successful picks.

Trish is also another of our supportive PUPs and was at Colney with us to

present last season’s cheque a few months ago.

I know Trish would really love to get us another win and get her name

onto Ray’s signature so we need to pull out all the stops to help make this

happen. You PUPs have been brilliant all season so I always think we have a

great chance! Don’t forget for your selection to be considered it must be

played on Sat/Sun/Mon and be listed on Bet365 or William Hill websites. I’ve turned a blind eye to selections

that don’t comply with this rule so far but twice now it’s caused us problems

when selecting the final six. So I’m afraid Friday night matches and those not

listed on Bet365 or Bill Hill will be void.

This week Feedthewolf is in charge of the Norwich match bet and I’m sure

he’d appreciate all your suggestions for the match bet against Villa. Good luck

buddy our fiver is in your hands. Don’t forget the bet can be a single £5 or

divided into up to five individual £1 bets.

As most of you know our great friend Tilly is ill in hospital. I’ve got

nothing new to report at this time. He’s still in intensive care (7th

day now). I’ll keep you all informed on this thread as soon as I hear anything

new and let’s hope there’s some good news soon. All we can do is to continue

with the good wishes that he will soon be on the mend.

Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Trish ... the thread is

yours....... [:)]......

As always I leave you with

Rays signature which now reads :-

Evening all - Top v Bottom in Bulgaria, where Ludogorets should beat Pirin Gotse DelchevLudogorets

are top by a point, and are 8-2-2 at home, with a 30/7 goals column.

Pirin are rock bottom, 0/1/11 away with a 6/36 goals column. On

the plus side Ludogorets won the first fixture this season 0-3, however

be warned that Ludogorets play in the Europa league on Thursday against

Lazio so there is a risk of rotation, also the equivalent fixture last

season finished 1-1 - So would not say this is a banker.Best of luck all.Norwich bet - Agbonlahor 1-0  - Lambert has an incredible record in ''grudge matches''  (NCFC v Col

Off to La Liga this week

Villarreal (5th 7-3-3 26-15 at home) v Real Betis (bottom 0-2-10 8-34 away) - Home Win

And for the NCFC bet lets be positive. How about HT Draw/FT Norwich at 15/2 on Bet365.

Best of luck Doris, Feedthewolf and all you PUPs.

Thanks for the intro Eddie. Hope that with the help of all our lovely PUPs out there I can continue our winning ways in what has been a fantastic season. I''ll make my selections around 10pm on Friday so good luck everyone!!

Can''t post this without a mention of our friend Tilly. So sad to hear that the old b****r is in hospital. Hope he makes a speedy recovery. I''m pretty sure a PUPs win would help give him a lift.
For the NCFC bet I like the look of half-time/full-time Norwich/draw at 16-1.
Nutty is kindly keeping an eye on whether odds appear for this choice in the Russian Cup:CSKA Moskva to win at home against Sokol Saratov.CSKA are fifth in the top tier while Sokol Saratov are top of the third tier. Impossible to know whether CSKA will take this seriously, but there are signs they will. They are out of all European competitions, and in the previous round won 2-1 away against a second-tier team.Failing odds on this, I will back up Trent''s choice of Ludogorets in the Bulgarian top flight.Good luck to all!

This week I''m going to tip Hull to beat Newcastle, Newcastle have been struggling after putting on a great display first half at FCR and with Long and Jelavic Hull have a two forwards who can cause problems.

So Hull v Newcastle Home win

As for the City bet, I think The messiah might just shock a few people and put one over poor Paul

So Norwich to win and there be more than 2.5 goals Ladbrokes price 5/1

Finally I''m sure all our thoughts are with Tilly and his family and we hope to see him back on this thread very soon.

Good luck all.

Just like my holidays I''m off to Turkey for my selection[H]

Top of the league Fenerbahce with a home record of W9 D2 L0 F31 A9 should have too much for lowly Genclerbirligi who are W2 D1 L7 F6 A13 away.

Fenerbahce          v           Genclerbirligi           Home Win

And for Norwich I''m suggesting our only man who it seems can score, Robert Snodgrass to score first goal at 12/1.

Good luck everyone.

The Tilly news from yesterday was a little more positive. I''ll be back with the next Tilly update hopefully later today.

Poland this week for me.
League leaders Legia Warsaw host 8th place Jagiellonia on Sunday. The home side have only lost 1 of their 11 home games, winning the rest. Scoring an impressive 29 goals, conceding just seven times. Their opponents away form isn''t too bad with a 3/4/4 record, scoring 11 and conceding 15. But the home side should be too strong for them.
For the Norwich bet, out of hope as much as anything else, Norwich over 2/5 goals is 10/1. I think all our recent performances and missed opportunities will finally turn into a thrashing for someone, and hopefully Villa will be on the receiving end.
Legia Warsaw vs Jagiellonia- Home win.
Good luck :)

Let''s go with Reading to beat Yeovil at home at 4/7.

For the Norwich bet, given that I had the right score last week and I''m feeling like it''s about time we put away more of these chances - Norwich 3-1 win is 40/1. Better yet, go with Fer to score anytime and 3-1 pays 85/1.

Good luck both of you

Fresh from their first league defeat of the season, I suspect Celtic won''t want to see their "narrow" lead at the top of the top reduced any further from its thinnest of margins of a mere 21 points.

Celtic vs Inverness Cally Thistle - Home win please

After two losers in a row I need to get back to winning ways.

Barcelona home win

For the match bet I''d go along with other posters. It''s got to be a holt/hoolahan orientated bet, or perhaps a little left field, but am I right in thinking Ryan Bertrand is at villa on loan? He must be a big price to score anytime.

Good luck everybody

Hi Nigel,

I''m just checking that this refers to me, as there''s another Feedthewolf on the site too.

If so, would you mind running through what I have to do again? Sorry, I''ve been a bit busy of late and kind of lost track.

My pick for this week is Man City to beat Sunderland in the Capital One Cup final.

Just received this Tilly Update : -

Just a quick update on John

Tilson, he is now responding to treatment and is slowly improving although it

seems it is going to be a long and slow recovery. He is moaning to the nurses that he is bored so there is an

obvious improvement if you know what I mean. I''ll keep you updated

accordingly.

Let''s

hope it''s not too long before he''s back moaning on here...
