Terrible Time to Have a change even though i want one

Recommended Posts

I as many others finally lost any patience in the current managerial set up which can be summed up as tedious mediocrity with the odd high point, credit where it is due.

We as a club are a bit like an England batsman half way down the wicket, not a good place to be and too late to go forward or back. Ok he is given to the Hull game, 18th Jan. If we win then we are stuck for a while longer, if not he goes saturday/sunday. Unless we already have our target penciled in then there probably will be at best 8 to 10 days for the new manager to assess the squad before considering which positions he would like to strengthen, by the time he has done that the window will be closed or we will make some panic buys. I am not convinced he is gone yet and would not be surprised if we won on saturday. Whilst i would welcome the points it would only continue the sorry saga further into the season as i think matters have now gone too far to be forgotten or mended
