Number 9 0 Posted January 16, 2014 Well for a start, you can change your name to Optimistic Canary
snake-eyes 13 Posted January 16, 2014 Very optimistic IMO. H vs Hull Draw 1 ptsH vs Newcastle Lose 0 ptA vs Cardiff Lose 0 ptH vs Man City Lose 0 ptsA vs West Ham Lose 0 ptsH vs Spurs Lose 0 ptA vs Villa Lose 0 ptsH vs Stoke Win 3 ptsA vs Southampton Lose 0 ptsH vs Sunderland Draw 1 ptsA vs Swansea Lose 0 ptsH vs West Brom Win 3 ptsA vs Fulham Lose (as usual) 0 ptsH vs Liverpool Lose 0 ptsA vs Man Utd Lose 0 ptA vs Chelsea Lose 0 ptsH vs Aresenal Lose 0 pts 8 points! Relegation. This is based on form. Pessimistic? Sure. Possibility of a couple more draws, but I just don''t see how we are going to win more than 2 games. Chris Chapman 0 Posted January 16, 2014 Yes Guys optomistic indeed. This is based on the players fighting to bail Hughton out of the shit and Hughton try to keep his job. All they need to do is put a full 45 minutes per half as they did in the 1st 15 Mins at Fulham, not give up after that. Easy
Tetteys Jig 830 Posted January 16, 2014 Predicted at the start of the season that we''d be on 22 points by now. We''d beat Hull 3-0 and then Newcastle 1-0.I now think a 1-0 win versus Hull and a 1-2 loss versus Toon.I then had is down for 1 point from the next 4, (Man C and Spurs at home and Cardiff and West Ham away)
Chris Chapman 0 Posted January 16, 2014 I had us down for 27 at this stage, your not too far out Jimmy! Fingers crossed
Salopian 1 Posted January 16, 2014 On present form, I can''t see a win at Upton Park. We shall do well to get anything there, and I can''t see us winning all the four home games Didcot marked as wins. Altogether, perhaps 6 or 7 points.I am doubtful about some of the draws he suggests as well, especially Old Trafford, Newcastle and Cardiff. Granting the rest, I would come up with about 11 points. Then I must admit the possibility of unexpected results, like those at the end of last season, but the total would be 35 or 36, which could be very marginal.I really hope that performance will pick up as the concentration of manager and team improves, but on the form and lack of commitment of the past few weeks it is difficult to be optimistic.
