Its a good example of passion and commitment as Southampton were totally dominating them,, but are hanging in there now for a draw. Not helped by two stretchered off, but the tide had turned before that...

So our amazing new Newcastle reserve who many Toon fans consider is a trier who is passed his best comes straight into our starting level in a very important game.

I''m not judging him prematurely just going on impressions from up North and I hope he is a revelation, but it hardly excites.

Will he do a kei kamara with "impact" and all that?

We will see, but to choose Snodgrass and Gutierrez over Redmond and Pilkington (surely two of the most exciting players we have) is a brave move... let''s hope that it works out well.

hull could have been 2-0 within the first 4 and a half minutesthe back 4 looks frightened, weve already seen the bizarre tactic of backing off attacking players instead ofclosing them down a couple of timesno idea what snodgrass is doing on the pitch, complete waste of space and unbalances the team
