Thanks City1st, enjoyed that.

Who''s the left-footer scoring the second and third - looks like a prospect?

The first 3 are all scored by Jamar Loza and the 4th & 5th are Murphy, which one im not sure? But both goals are the same Murphy.

Some great looking prospects there although the Blackburn squad was mainly made up of their first year scholars with 3 or 4 first team players coming back to training. Dunn being one of those.

Look at the last goal in particular - THIS is exactly the sort of ball we should be looking to play to RVW to get the best out of him.None of this cut inside and take three weeks to attack nonsense - quick, direct wing play followed by a snappy pass across = goal.Good showing by the U21''s, although you can really see how raw some of the players are (especially the Blackburn defenders), but very promising signs for the future.

AJ,

Neil Adams is the U18 Manager, these are the U21''s managed by Mark Robson. Some of the lads played U18 last year, some didn''t they were already U21, however they didn''t get so much hype as the U18''s because the didn''t win a televised cup.

Jamar Loza, Adel Gafaiti & Ewan McNeil from the current U21''s were too old to play in the U18''s last year, some by a matter of weeks only.

My bad Ray, I watched the entire cup run last year - it''s good to see a lot of progression going through. I''ve also seen several development matches and Adam''s has been there so thought he was involved with them too, but was no doubt just watching how his U18s were getting on then!

AJ,

I get to most of the U21 home games, and you are quite right most of the coaches are there, including CH most of the time. So for the faults some think he may have, he is very involved with the development of the youngsters, inputting when appropriate, which is good to see.

you mean the young player murphy who when he comes on does the direct wing play and has not let us down yet ! but cannot get on the pitch due to us signing a slow left winger who does not cross well and doesn''t score but is solid !

Yeah. Playing for other teams in league 1 on loan or sold for next to nothing

you don''t sound too bright, perhaps you are from suffolkall PL clubs loan out their players to lower league clubs so as to gain experience .. toughen them up, so to speakif players are not thought to be likely to step up to the first team they will be moved on ... or sold cheaply as you rather stupidly put ita player is only worth what another club will pay, not some imagined figure conjured up by youthere will usually be a sell on clause and further payments based on appearances - which means the buying club do pay a more true value dependent on the players progress and the selling club likewise get a more accurate priceperhaps you could point out a player who has been "sold for next to nothing and has then gone on the prove us wrong"

Well said City 1st. Perhaps they are referring to the hugely succesful Danny Crow, Ryan Jarvis, Ian Henderson or Joe Lewis. All tipped as massive stars of the future who we allowed to leave for very little but were going to come back & haunt us. None have made it above 3rd tier football.
