Do the board NOT trust Hughton?

Recommended Posts

7 days to go and only 1 loan signing made, do the board not trust Hughton enough to allow him to spend a few million on a decent CH that a few of us think we need?

Or is that just wishful thinking?

That''s 1 loan signing more than most in the league.

January is like Christmas Eve at the petrol station, tricky.

I think you may be on to something, that the Board are happy to keep someone directly influencing a multi million pound business, yet not trust them.

It''s puzzling! A couple of weeks ago we were reported as having bid several million for someone from Italy(?) and were turned down.

Now we are going for bargain basement players, its seems - Dann, Ciani, Whelan, etc.

EITHER the board has been persuaded, perhaps by Hughton himself, that he has a sufficient squad and that January signings are expensive in any case.

OR they don''t trust him.

OR they have tried for several, but none want to come to Norwich in a slightly perilous league position.

It''s all the more puzzling now we have sold Ayala, and have only three specialist CBs, plus Martin, but then there''s no cover at RB. We seem, at the moment, to be taking something of a risk.

had to laugh at that, sorry.

Ciani was the multi million bid you are referring to.

I think there is alittle doubt remember we have only won once in ten games ( without checking ) it could go either way with hughton still I think they will let us loan players but big signings will be put of until the summer

also if you were a attack minded player striker / am (10) would you honest come here with the tactics played ??
