Lavanche 0 Posted January 28, 2014 Hopefuly we can keep the game at their end as with Sissoko, Anita and Tiote their midfield and three good supporting players from Ben Arfa and their fullbacks will be dominant against Fer and Johnson and our supporting players Snoddy and Olsson. Martin probably will quite much hug the line so we are two man short from mid areas.Anyway if we can keep the ball at wings and make long attacks we have very good chances to take 3 points, but would be happy for draw too. the bristol nest 0 Posted January 28, 2014 No Tetty but no surprise . It''s what I precicted! ooh look at me! Tetty will ease his way in.Come on city!
lincoln canary (& Golden Coppel) 0 Posted January 28, 2014 He''s persisting with hooper and RVW together. Don''t think it will work TBH. Think both would work better with elmander. We''ll see I guess.
Branston Pickle 3,654 Posted January 28, 2014 IMO this is a decent starting XI, you could argue a couple of tweaks but not too many. No Wes on the bench; that isnt necessarily a sign he''s off and I''d like to keep him but if we can get nigh-on £2m it is surely us getting the better end of the deal - I''m sure he''d merely be swapping our bench for Villa''s. the bristol nest 0 Posted January 28, 2014 It''s funny I noticed that Wes was mssing but did not mind. I am a fan of his as well.
The Big Bad Wolf 0 Posted January 28, 2014 Really hoping for a goal from RvW - the lad needs one for his confidence.
Macey 5 Posted January 28, 2014 looks like same sh*t different game... sitting back inviting pressure on.
Alex Moss 2,165 Posted January 28, 2014 Newcastle start the brighter apparently. And Cardiff losing? C''mon City!
Branston Pickle 3,654 Posted January 28, 2014 I think the thing with Wes is that most people when putting down their starting XI often don''t include him (who do you drop/where do you fit him in?), but wouldn''t want him gone. It is a bit of a tricky one, for sure.
CanaryOne 0 Posted January 28, 2014 Hard work for us to get in the Newcstle half .
Branston Pickle 3,654 Posted January 28, 2014 We do seem to start slowly, remember Hull et al - I guess if you cant get going immediately the key thing is to keep it tight and play our way into the game.
NWC 239 Posted January 28, 2014 Good save Ruddy - but we were opened up far too easily...

Redders Right Foot 22 Posted January 28, 2014 they have so much space in our third. zonal marking wouldn''t be too bad if we covered the zones ffs.

Redders Right Foot 22 Posted January 28, 2014 If we play like this we will get smashed 5-0. we need tettey on for RVW so Fer and johno can have more free roles, and redmond on for snodders for some pace. we''re getting dominated because their central midfielder is outnumbering us and we''re being pushed back way too much. Cantiaci Canary 556 Posted January 28, 2014 Just sitting back and waiting to concede it seems.Players appear to translate ''keep it tight and keep your shape'' as SURRENDER!!!Still after 59 league games you would hope CH could get his message across. iron_stan 0 Posted January 28, 2014 newcastle are everything norwich arent, pacey quick attacking football stretching the opposition and generally being a class apartbe interesting to see if they can keep it up for 90 minutes, although if they score a couple they wont need tocity look so slow
PortlandCanary 0 Posted January 28, 2014 Bassong has had two impressive shots on goal. Wrong goal, unfortunately.
Darth Catbeard The Old 0 Posted January 28, 2014 At the game, can''t believe how lazy and disinterested we are. Completely fu*king unacceptable! I''m furious already. Need to sort this out asap or we''ll get smashed yet again

lincoln canary (& Golden Coppel) 0 Posted January 28, 2014 Looking at the bench, bar maybe Tettey, no one would improve this. We miss Hoolahan.
