Canary On The Wire 0 Posted January 29, 2014 No idea what to think after that game tonight. Performance was terrible for 75 of the 90 minutes, and yet a point is no bad result against Newcastle. When did we start thinking we have a divine right to beat teams like the Toon? Better and bigger club than us, that''s the reality of it. It''s a point we didn''t deserve though- I just hope this doesn''t serve as vindication of Hughton''s current woeful tactics.P.S Why are people getting on Hughton''s back for taking Hooper off for Tettey? If we had left Fer on his own in the middle of the park, we would have lost that game for sure. Hooper was tiring, Elmander a lot fresher, and to take him off so soon after coming on is extremely unprofessional and uncalled for when he had done nothing wrong. The Johnson sending off was unfair, as he provoked Remy''s headbutt but did not actually put any motion into the confrontation himself other than squaring up to him. Should have been a yellow for BJ.P.P.S Redmond was superb when he came on, and this is exactly how he should, and I''m sure would, have been used if Pilks had been fit all season.
