Gingerpele 0 Posted February 1, 2014 That pass to Redmond.Like his two for Hooper against Watford and someone else. Why on earth does he only try that once every two or three games? Occasionally he does and it gets blocked, but he''s got a killer final ball, Hooper, RVW and Redmond can clearly all run in behind the defender. So why on earth is that final ball from Fer not being utilised more often?
wcorkcanary 4,334 Posted February 1, 2014 because , since Tettey injured he''s been asked to ''hold ''more. Losing the game , Leroy had the freedom to really attack. After all he''s an attacking mid that can tackle, not a defensive mid.
Darth Catbeard The Old 0 Posted February 1, 2014 He attempted it every time he got the ball today, he was awesome when he came on. Maybe that''s what he''d be like if he had his defensive duties taken away and was allowed to play behind the strikers? I think he seriously lacks the concentration and positioning needed to be a defensive midfielder, he''s as wasted as Howson is playing where he usually does. Jim Smith 2,317 Posted February 1, 2014 As we saw earlier in the season he is at his best alongside Tettey who obviously gives him the confidence to push forward more.

Tetteys Jig 830 Posted February 1, 2014 Yep, he''s been held back by having to look after Johnson in the middle. The sooner the Fer Tettey partnership can come in the better.
