That pass to Redmond.
Like his two for Hooper against Watford and someone else.
Why on earth does he only try that once every two or three games? Occasionally he does and it gets blocked, but he''s got a killer final ball, Hooper, RVW and Redmond can clearly all run in behind the defender. So why on earth is that final ball from Fer not being utilised more often?

because , since Tettey injured he''s been asked to ''hold ''more. Losing the game , Leroy had the freedom to really attack. After all he''s an attacking mid that can tackle, not a defensive mid.

He attempted it every time he got the ball today, he was awesome when he came on. Maybe that''s what he''d be like if he had his defensive duties taken away and was allowed to play behind the strikers? I think he seriously lacks the concentration and positioning needed to be a defensive midfielder, he''s as wasted as Howson is playing where he usually does.

As we saw earlier in the season he is at his best alongside Tettey who obviously gives him the confidence to push forward more.

Yep, he''s been held back by having to look after Johnson in the middle. The sooner the Fer Tettey partnership can come in the better.
