Crispy 4 Posted February 1, 2014 If the sign of a good team is that even when they play badly they pick up points ... surely the reverse is true.Even when we play well .... we can''t win.I seriously believe Chris can''t take this club forward. Regardless of the bad results (our win ration for the last 12 months is appalling) we cannot find form, and even in the odd occasion we play well ... we can''t turn it into a positive result.Whenever we go ahead with time on the board we just don''t know what to do. Under Houghton we can''t dictate the game unless the opposition is count on the counter or they are sitting on a lead.It really is 50/50 wether we get relegated and once again it probably won''t be of our own doing but relying on others to do worse. In this situation all it needs is an occasional defensive error, and there have been a few, and you lose. Scoring is an objective and part of playing well. Dean Coneys boots 1,398 Posted February 12, 2014 Over the course of the season the three teams who perform the poorest go down. It is fair and after so many games reality is shown. What we see this year is that there exist a whole bunch of teams that are so so - any could go down. Luck will keep some up and, at present, dump us out. But the table does not lie. We are amongst the most rubbish in the league on performances this season. We have scored 19 goals. Only Palace have less- but are scoring heaps more since a new manager. That stat says it all.
