Irn Bru Canary 0 Posted December 26, 2013 Has been a serious problem for some time but thought it was particularly poor this afternoon - our win percentage of the second ball. I am guessing we won around 20% of second balls this afternoon. Another problem highlighted by Fulham this afternoon was how most of our attacks involve too many sideways or backward passes - they were very direct. Syteanric 1 Posted December 26, 2013 I once attended a coaches conference and the chap taking it ( ex top flight player from late 80s) said that he was always told if you win the first ball there wont be a 2nd....This could well be evident in the way let the ball bounce. This gives your opponent a 2nd chance... if he is faster/stronger/better in the air you put yourself in a losing position... whittaker, Olsson and Redmond are notorious for letting it bounce...Win the first ball and there wont be a 2nd.... havemyhowsonit 0 Posted December 26, 2013 Biggest problem now is. We were 1-0 up against a very poor side at home and managed to lose 1-2. Scored a lucky goal and never looked like scoring another 13 mins onwards into the game. Very worrying. Looked so similar to the Swansea game at home We need change !!!Hughton out tonight
CanaryOne 0 Posted December 27, 2013 Biggest problem is Hughton , if he stays we will go down , only West Ham look worse at the moment .
