Cardiff didnt spend a lot more, the reported 50 million seems to be 31 on any transfer site on the internet. Southampton also spent around that figure on two players I believe and are currently doing very well on it. No it wasnt a big splurge by Premier League standards, but by Premier league standards you actually mean the top 6 and none of the mentioned teams will ever spend that amount of money.

thats a bit too selective even for me Making plans; within that group you have to include at least soton, wet sham and West brom amongst many others which improves the return a fair bit...

Nevermind those games what about Southampton, Stoke, West Ham, Palace and West Brom. 15 out of a possible 15 points from those 5 games is pretty good...
