Seems to me a lot of people are writing off these games as not mattering, that we only need to beat the teams in and around us (not that we are managing that either).

I haven''t done the sums, but I''m pretty sure that points won against top 5 teams have kept us in this league in the last two seasons, and how many points have we got against them this year? I expect us to limp to another defeat today.

5 top teams = 10 games (great maths I know) to try and get something, why shouldn''t we be aiming for 5 or 6 points in those games? Go into them with a game plan and it might work in 3 or 4 of those 10 games.

My point, I suppose, is that this seasons lack of competitiveness in these games is another reason we are on dodgy ground, and another massive shortcoming of the management team.
