BroadstairsR 2,135 Posted December 30, 2013 On one of my occasional visits to "In Days Gone By" one binman made the comment that we were "Just lucky to have had Lambert ... that''s all."It caused me to reflect on just where that small town club might be nowadays if they had not been fortunate to have had Bobby Robson.Furthermore, how unfortunate SBR was not to have been at a bigger club during his managerial prime. He would surely have collected far more trophies and sufficient to rank him amongst the greats in terms of honours ie. the Shankleys, Paisleys and Cloughs.
