Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 20

Recommended Posts

Greetings PUPs and welcome to week 20, the halfway point of the Rays

Funds season. This week we have Gregt in charge and making the final

selections. The Christmas weekend is always one of the most difficult times to

pick the final six so I’m very grateful to Greg for agreeing to take it on this

year. Many of our usual hunting grounds are on a mid-season break and the quick

turnaround from Boxing Day means there could well be plenty of banana skins to

avoid. But Greg is the ideal man for the job. His cool, calm approach is just

what we need. And the bonus is he comes into his week in top form having picked

correctly throughout December. Don’t forget for your selection to be considered

it must be played on Sat/Sun/Mon and be listed on Bet365 or William Hill

websites.

This week Lappinitup is in charge of the Norwich match bet. My great

friend Lapp is on for a unique double having already earned a place on Ray’s

signature thanks to a fantastic win with his final selections a couple of

seasons ago. I’m sure he’d appreciate all your suggestions for the match bet

against Manchester United. Good luck Mick our fiver is in your hands. Don’t

forget the bet can be a single £5 or divided into up to five individual £1

bets.

We all had a brilliant early Christmas present with our win last weekend

where you PUPs were on top form and Hughesy put that together with a winning

final six. I’m still so proud of this thread and what we achieve together.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Now Ill hand the thread over to Gregt.

Remember theres no pressure because we are

all going to do our best to help you get your name in the Rays Funds Hall of Fame.

We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community

Sports Foundation

Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Greg ... the thread is

yours.......[:)]...

As always I leave you with

Rays signature which now reads :-

Carve their names with

pride.Yankee,4,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,3,

Has to be a HOME WIN for MAN CITY v Crystal Palace.

The Norwich bet has Snodgrass at 5/1 to score anytime so let''s hope for a free kick on the edge of the United area during the ninety minutes. [;)]

A tricky week to be taking on so best wishes to gregt with suspensions and injury never mind "tired legs" sure to help cause a few strange results.

I''ll try and avoid a Banana skin and offer

Sheff Utd V Tranmere Home win.

As for the City bet could we possibly do it again and go Ht Draw Ft Norwich.

Good luck to all pup''s

Aberdeen to beat Ross County for me please.

I''ll hold fire on the City bet as I fancy RVW to get his first goal back after injury against Man U, but I''ll wait and see if he does today first (wont mind a bit if he does!)

Happy New Year to all PUPs and good luck to Greg and Lapp xxx

Having to pick early, and there are no odds on this at the moment, but judging by previous weeks there should be by teatime UK time. With that warning, to Israel.Maccabi Tev Aviv to win at Bnei Yehuda.Top versus bottom. Maccabi Tel Aviv have won their last five (albeit mostly at home) and have a 4-1-1 and 12/5 away record.Bnei Yehuda have lost their last five, and have a 1-2-3 and 7/12 home record.---For the NCFC bet, how about an optimistic 2-2 final score?Good luck to all!

Sort to be boring, but a Man.C win for me is all I can find I like. And for the Norwich bet, very very pessimistic for the first time in years and years of supporting this club, so I''ll suggest Man.U to score a penalty at 5/1.

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace- home win.

Good luck :)

Desperately tried to find a fresh pick but can''t find anything remotely decent. There is a match in Antigua which looks good but unfortunately it kicks off at 11pm tonight. So will go along with Fenerbache to beat Kayserispor. Fenerbache are top, 6/2/0 at home. Kayserispor are 3rd bottom, 1/3/3 away. Previous results have been mixed, so am not confident on this at all. however the 1/3 price looks good.Best of luck all.

Yep, this is extremely difficult this season. Probably the most difficult I can remember. Desperately trying to find alternatives for Greg. Finally settled for the championship and Derby to win at Barnsley. Derby are clear top of the away league having W7 D2 L2 F23 A11 while Barnsley at home are W2 D5 L4 F11 A21.

Barnsley          v          Derby           Away Win

For the match bet how about Hooper to score anytime and a 1-1 draw.
