nutty nigel 7,351 Posted December 24, 2013 Greetings PUPs and welcome to week 20, the halfway point of the RaysFunds season. This week we have Gregt in charge and making the finalselections. The Christmas weekend is always one of the most difficult times topick the final six so I’m very grateful to Greg for agreeing to take it on thisyear. Many of our usual hunting grounds are on a mid-season break and the quickturnaround from Boxing Day means there could well be plenty of banana skins toavoid. But Greg is the ideal man for the job. His cool, calm approach is justwhat we need. And the bonus is he comes into his week in top form having pickedcorrectly throughout December. Don’t forget for your selection to be consideredit must be played on Sat/Sun/Mon and be listed on Bet365 or William Hillwebsites. This week Lappinitup is in charge of the Norwich match bet. My greatfriend Lapp is on for a unique double having already earned a place on Ray’ssignature thanks to a fantastic win with his final selections a couple ofseasons ago. I’m sure he’d appreciate all your suggestions for the match betagainst Manchester United. Good luck Mick our fiver is in your hands. Don’tforget the bet can be a single £5 or divided into up to five individual £1bets. We all had a brilliant early Christmas present with our win last weekendwhere you PUPs were on top form and Hughesy put that together with a winningfinal six. I’m still so proud of this thread and what we achieve together.Merry Christmas everyone. Now I’ll hand the thread over to Gregt.Remember there’s no pressure because we areall going to do our best to help you get your name in the Rays Funds Hall of Fame.We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the CommunitySports Foundation Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Greg ... the thread isyours.......[:)]... PurpleCanary 5,530 Posted December 27, 2013 Having to pick early, and there are no odds on this at the moment, but judging by previous weeks there should be by teatime UK time. With that warning, to Israel.Maccabi Tev Aviv to win at Bnei Yehuda.Top versus bottom. Maccabi Tel Aviv have won their last five (albeit mostly at home) and have a 4-1-1 and 12/5 away record.Bnei Yehuda have lost their last five, and have a 1-2-3 and 7/12 home record.---For the NCFC bet, how about an optimistic 2-2 final score?Good luck to all! Gingerpele 0 Posted December 27, 2013 Sort to be boring, but a Man.C win for me is all I can find I like. And for the Norwich bet, very very pessimistic for the first time in years and years of supporting this club, so I''ll suggest Man.U to score a penalty at 5/1.Manchester City vs Crystal Palace- home win.Good luck :)
Kathy 728 Posted December 27, 2013 RVW to score against Manure.
Graham Humphrey 13 Posted December 27, 2013 Conference South for me this week and I think Bromley (1st, 47 points from 20 games) will win away at Whitehawk (19th, 18 points from 19 games).Good luck Greg and all PUPs.
Trent Canary 0 Posted December 27, 2013 Desperately tried to find a fresh pick but can''t find anything remotely decent. There is a match in Antigua which looks good but unfortunately it kicks off at 11pm tonight. So will go along with Fenerbache to beat Kayserispor. Fenerbache are top, 6/2/0 at home. Kayserispor are 3rd bottom, 1/3/3 away. Previous results have been mixed, so am not confident on this at all. however the 1/3 price looks good.Best of luck all. nutty nigel 7,351 Posted December 27, 2013 Yep, this is extremely difficult this season. Probably the most difficult I can remember. Desperately trying to find alternatives for Greg. Finally settled for the championship and Derby to win at Barnsley. Derby are clear top of the away league having W7 D2 L2 F23 A11 while Barnsley at home are W2 D5 L4 F11 A21. Barnsley v Derby Away Win For the match bet how about Hooper to score anytime and a 1-1 draw.
