[quote user="lake district canary"]IIs it not simply that he tried to play the advantage after a foul and it didn''t work out so he was disappointed in himself, for making a poor decision?

I''m unsuspecting by default, so I''d say Dean''s frustrated reaction responds to the fact that he ought to have awarded a free kick. But after his more than dubious calls against us vs. Palace I''m not so sure.

LDC, I have to say that was my immediate obvious reaction. That said, couldn''t he still have pulled it back for the free kick - there was only a couple of seconds between the "foul" and him giving the ball away?

Maybe it is Herman''s "dark side" at work after all. I wonder if anyone''s actually asked Dean about it?
