PaulineFowler 4 Posted January 15, 2014 I would love to see us go for someone like him. Tactical genius and would have respect of players and is a name to attract players to the club.Cue all the fools on here who disagree with anything anyone ever says.... crabbycanary 2 Posted January 15, 2014 I don''t know what you have said before, but I am disagreeing with you on this point.Does that make me a part of a fool?
PaulineFowler 4 Posted January 15, 2014 No it doesn''t make you a fool for disagreeing but argue why not. All I ever see on here is people just rejecting suggestions and being personal without having a conversation for and against
mrs miggins 0 Posted January 15, 2014 adding to pauline flower''s post i will say i disagree with your choice because of his track record, views and i believe he''s been out of the game for quite a while
Jonzey 0 Posted January 15, 2014 Posting something ludicrous and then calling anybody a fool who disagrees? That''s some good trolling there Pauline, if that is your real name! Hoddle runs a website and posted articles as to why he should get the Spurs job. He believes disabled people are suffering karma from being bad in a previous life. He employed a faith healer when in charge of England. He''s clearly insane.
yellowdamien 0 Posted January 15, 2014 Absolutely a better shout than Mackay. He has firm tactical ideas, likes to play football in the right way, and if we''re going to get relegated anyway (as a majority seem to think) then why not do it with a little style?I would personally love us to give someone like Mark Robins a go - has done well wherever he''s been, admittedly in the lower reaches, but has always won the fans over and got his teams playing football. Monty13 2,229 Posted January 15, 2014 I don''t really know why there seems to be a small section of supporters on here who seem to think Hoddle is the answer? He hasn''t managed in 7+ years, and as far as i''m aware hasn''t been mentioned in connection with too many jobs since. His last achievement in management was failing to get wolves promoted twice and excuse the wikipedia cut and paste but i couldn''t remember much of his time at wolves: "Wolves .....failed to reach the play-offs because 15 of those games had been draws. Wolves were expected to finish in the top 6 under Hoddle in the 2005–06 season but again draws cost them with Wolves drawing 19 of their 46 league games. They were also one of the lowest goalscoring teams in the division scoring just 50 goals in the league all season."A man who ended his last job with a team of goal shy draw specialists, exactly what we need.I am of course being slightly tongue in cheek as his time at Southampton and part of it at Spurs was good, but honestly, someone explain to me the reasoning behind him being a good choice today? crabbycanary 2 Posted January 15, 2014 OKI would not want his ego any where near this Club. I would also ask the question, why has he been out of a job for so long?
Viva Marc Libbra 0 Posted January 15, 2014 He has been out if work because he has been setting up his academy abroad where he tries to get released youth players back into football. During that time he has turned down numerous jobs.
Zak Van Burger 0 Posted January 15, 2014 I''d love to see Hoddle here but only for the reaction such an appointment would get from Wiz.
