He did win most of us over in the end and great credit to him. He was always a bit of an unsung hero but players like Putters usually are. I bet he was at Ipswich too.


I remember Peter Morris and and Johnny Miller coming from the binners in the 70s. Miller won us over much quicker after scoring twice for us at the portaloo in the league cup quarter final when it was alleged we hadn''t yet paid the transfer fee[:D]


Keith Bertschin also won us over and was a real favourite of mine. It helped that he scored the only goal of the game to knock the binners out of the FA cup in the early 80s[:D]


And of course Clive Woods eventually came home at the end of his career.


Anyone remember any others?
