Number 9 0 Posted November 24, 2013 I''ve read quite a bit of conjecture relating to Hughton staying or going etc. and I''m not sure we are looking at this from the right perspective.ie. McNally''s perspective, let me show you;Success ON the pitch leads to success OFF the pitch!A winning or exciting team will encourage fans / sponsors / media / etc to put cash into the club. This, I believe will be Hughton''s downfall. Hughton''s style doesn''t fit with McNally''s mantra. You may disagree, but it is a fact.
nutty nigel 7,509 Posted November 24, 2013 But of course Mcnally could view finishing 11th last season as success because that was a fact. He could also believe that being out of the bottom three with our injury list is a success. I think the truth is Hughton''s style doesn''t suit your mantra which is fair enough. Houston Canary 0 Posted November 24, 2013 This sounds like a debate in the Channel 4 newsroom. And that is a FACT!
Number 9 0 Posted November 24, 2013 McNally''s stance hasn''t changed since he joined City. I believe he is sensitive to the paying customers views, as an seemingly increasing number are dissatisfied with the style of play, Hughton''s style of play, McNally will see the balance sheets rumbling with discontent and he will act.Fact :-)
