Lee Power?

Recommended Posts

Lee our previous sometime striker who managed to score a handful of important goals in the fledgling Premier League has become owner of Swindon. As a player he came across a typical brainless footballer. But Lee has seemingly transformed himself as an astute businessman Where did that come from?

Earlier Lee had gone into business with I believe Richard Dunwoody in the late 1990''s or early 2,000''s. Can''t judge a book etc.

Plenty of footballers go into business, not sure that footballers are ''typically brainless'' as you suggest.

Mark Barham, Alan Taylor, Mick Channon, Zema Abbey and probably countless other former Norwich players have gone into business. Mike Walker was a businessman too.

Then there is Dave Whelan of course, he didn''t do too badly for himself did he.

One of the better terrace chants. Scored probably the best goal I have seen from a City player, at Loftus road. Also shares a birthday with me.

I saw a study that suggested (with research/evidence) that in general footballers are actually smarter than the average person....

MOTD Saturday night showed a shot of our Directors box and mentioned Gerry Francis sitting there but on his left I spotted Lee Power who was not mentioned. I will leave the conspiracy merchants to make of that what they will.

Are you saying that Lee Power was controlling a Gerry Francis look-a-like mannequin with his right hand?
