Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted December 4, 2013 A lack of movement up front so no one for any of our players in possession to hit. Elmander is static. Must really stand out in contrast to Suarez who is world class in his movement, but.......you don''t need a big man up front; you don''t need a ball holder up front; what you need is a mobile striker making runs, moving and pulling the defence around and that isn''t Elmander. I only saw highlights of Saturday''s game but we DID appear to have movement up front with Hooper and Hoolahan. We can''t leave four in the middle, we need five so it has to be Hooper for Elmander. Orly 277 Posted December 4, 2013 Agreed. If 4-5-1 is designed to achieve defensive robustness it CLEARLY isn''t working. All I hope it that we finally discard this tactic in favour of any other tactic. If you can''t score and concede at will, surely that means you have to change your system?
