In Three Words...

Recommended Posts

Describing things in three words seems to be rather fashionable at the moment.

On the TWTD website (I know - I''ve got too much time on my hands) they''ve got a thread going to describe us in three words. Lots of insults of course, but surprising how many of them put ''better than us''.

So, as it''s Christmas, perhaps we should return the compliment and describe Ipswich in three words.

I''ll keep it polite to start with.

Were good once.

Ipswich Town are the football equivalent of minor, desperate celebrities who take part in Panto. Famous once, but pretty much washed up.

NO LONGER FAMOUS

LIVING IN PAST

DESPERATE FOR MONEY

DESPERATE FOR FANS

NORWICH 9-2 IPSWICH

Bobby Robson''s Zombies..Bobby Robson (the nicest man in football remember) used to call the town faithful zombies due to their quiet, boring and generally passionless support. Bearing in mind this was during their successful years (early 80''s) and Robson never said a bad word about anyone then its pretty damning really.. he might have been their manager but even he took the p1ss out of them! RIP Bobbyhttp://www.greenun24.co.uk/ipswich-town/latest-news/keane_follows_robson_s_lead_and_blasts_blues_fans_1_684157
