You are kidding right?
14 points from 14 games, and you expect 10 out of the next 4?!? We''ll be lucky to have 24 points by the end of February - start of March.
In your extremely cowardly manner you neglected to say how many points you thought we''d get. Just tried ripping into another poster cuz you''re a tough guy online aren''t you Seattle? You know, I see you as a weedy little guy who is too often on the wrong end of yer lady''s rolling pin. And then when you get the chance you spin three times in your ''puter chair and become "Wonder Fan" and charge about this messageboard picking fights with anyone who has a different view to you. Or those you call "the usual suspects".

I think honestly we will get about 4 points. WBA and Swansea are a level beyond us now, and will show us up. Sunderland draw, and Fulham will I hope be a scrappy 1-0 win.
Alright old man, whatever you like to think! But i see you and your little gang as the cowards. I have no come here to personally attack anyone. Merely to challenge those that live in cloud cuckoo land, and think that the same manager and tactics will bring about different results. My lady doesn''t use a rolling pin, and apart from my football team there is little else failing in my life, as I wouldn''t let it. How about you? Do you happy clap through the days?
Well Seattle, I am reminded of the multipost contributor on this board who posted that you can never wrong posting an opinion. Mind you he could have meant as long as your point of view is the same as his.

I doubt there''s another poster on here who debates as patiently as me Crafty. And I see you had no opinion to add. Or I don''t think you did. I can''t really make it out because to be honest your whole post is a right old dogs dinner[&][pi]

Now Seedless in Seattle reckons he''s providing some sort of service here challenging those he believes live in cloud cuckoo land. No debate is forthcoming from these challenges though. Just some mindless piffle about how having certain fixtures together at the end of the season will magically effect the results we are likely to get for the whole second half.

You want an opinion? I''m happy to oblige. I think we''ll end up with around 38 points which may be enough to survive. Given the vagaries of football it might be a bit more and could easily be less.

A further opinion is that you are someone who distorts the posts of others to suit your point of view by claiming interpretations that are not apparent to others and, if necessary, inventing them.

Now don''t forget, posting an opinion can never be wrong.

From these four games, to turn our season around i''ll be looking for 8 points minimum. 6 or 7 would be disappointing but not a disaster. 9 and over would be brilliant.

Great win today to start off this run of games.  Much needed too, seeing as Palace won as well.  Just shows there will be plenty of twists and turns before the season is done. Next up, Swansea.

I think we should keep bumping this thread over the next three games to see who called it correctly after all.

I notice that some have disappeared off the forum since the WBA game. Perhaps they were upset by the win?

We have a mix of posters predicting these 4 games, and others saying what would be an "acceptable" return from them.  I said 6-7 would be acceptable, 9 would be nice.  Having got the first win under our belt I''d still say 3-4 points from the next 3 games would be acceptable, but really I think we should now be able to get another 6-7 from them.  I''d predict 4 or 6 though.

Seedless in Seattle is probably plucking up enough courage for his next attack from behind his computer screen...

what a surprise, the burger scoffing americans are sniping at the club

"WBA are a level above us" what a classic.

Hope we beat Swansea so you cry into your French fries.

I''d up my forecast to 8 points for December Le Juge, just for the record!

I''d have said a draw with West Brom would''ve been a good result. We won. I watched Swansea against Hull last night and certainly didn''t think they are a ''level above us''. They looked jaded, and although they had a lot of possession (mostly in their own half), they looked short of ideas. That may change on Sunday, but given that they have to play in Switzerland on Thursday, I somehow doubt it. The next 3 games could have a major impact to our season if City can rise to the occasion.

As I''ve said before on another thread, back to back wins would be a start.(And before you start, Nigel ; yes, I''m fully aware that you don''t get extra points for those....)It''s merely that the old cliché that "winning becomes a habit" is actually pretty true . So much of football is confidence . Take last night''s Man U game. For a good deal of the game they looked like a team shorn of confidence, and it was only when Jones fired the winner that Shaktar did not look easily the better side. But, as the commentators said, prior to their recent two home defeats this "crisis club" was actually on a 12 match unbeaten run.Just putting even a 4 or 5 match unbeaten run  would give Norwich the boost they need, and these games in Dec are the perfect opportunity.Basically, it all depends on CH''s mindset and attitude. If it''s right, then with 3 pts in the bag, I see no reason why we could not get 10 pts from the four games. But I fear he will revert to type and we''ll end up with six or seven at best.

No courage needed old man [;)]
We won with which I was delighted, and did not see it coming at all. After West Brom had taken a slow start to the season, a great win against United and a well earned point against the gunners, I thought they had been playing a level beyond us yes. It''s easy to laugh looking back now at my comment, but I genuinely thought they''d been playing the better football, and had they had a decent striker on against us, they would have at least scored and made it harder for us to snatch the points!
I''m hoping Swansea are knackered for the game Sunday, but on a different view I''m worried if Sunderland and Fulham may now pose the greatest threat as both new managers may have had enough time to change the mentality and play of the team. I''m glad we played Palace when we did as it seems to be working for them.
The West Brom result was great but we still haven''t gained any distance on the drop zone, so I hope we continue to push on.

Oh look its the outcast brigade. I hate rudeness generally, but for you lovely people who seem to have a real chip on your shoulder, its just so damn hard not to call you all Tw@ts!!
Buh I only wish I could meet you for a Morty style "pint". I''m sure that''d clear the air. Once again because you are thick, and seem somewhat prejudice too I''ll break it down for you.

The negativity is funny but the wriggling involved in writing us off and now trying to take it back is funnier

Serous damage control from some people.

Serous damage control from some people.
And what is even funnier is the concept that some  are not familiar with the idea that people are not only capable of modifying their opinions with changing circumstances, but also that it''s quite a smart thing to do.Perhaps Buh could give us a few names from the list of all these people who''ve "written off" Norwich on this board.

I actually don''t read Seattle''s post as wriggling though Buh. I think it''s a very honest assessment of where a lot of fans heads may have been.

Did I think we would beat West Brom? Probably not and that is based on every single away performance I have watched this season. Performance averaged over all of the games I genuinely didn''t think we stood a chance of getting anything against West Brom.

Had I seen this thread when everyone was b!tching about each other, I probably would have predicted 7 points from the 4 games and been delighted with 9 points. I actually still have that view despite having beaten West Brom.

I think we can win the next three games but actually think the best chance we have of three points is at home to Swansea.

I think it was Nigel who predicted 10 points and 45 to 50 come the end of the season. Having beaten West Brom, who''s to say those 10 points are achievable?

My biggest disappointment of this season is that my attitude has shifted in that I expect nothing from away days. I never have really as it took me 17 away games before I witnessed Norwich win away. This season however my expectation has dropped even further.

Wat points? You say modifying your opinion is a smart thing to do, I''d say that perhaps not making sub knee jerk opinions in the first place and maybe thinking about your opinion without resorting to becoming an over emotional canary caller who''s just watched old yeller. Maybe the smart thing is to not post that winning a game will relegate us?

Your other point is a list of people that have written off the club I recent weeks. Is there a character limit? This site is the Mecca of people that have written off the club. If you can''t see that then you should modify your opinion lol

Too much hassle, blatantly. That''s the reason you asked it.

Is your point that there aren''t people on here that are negative? Or are you feeling particularly guilty about writing the club off yourself?
