Say it now! What if Norwich fail to Beat Cardiff?

Recommended Posts

You''d think with 20k+ of posts on here that, Nutty\Eddie would be quite a wealth of information on Norwich. However similar to other posters like wiz and bw the post counts been made up of talking 5hite about anything other than Norwich. Sad or not Sad it''s upto you to form your opinion on that. "Pant wetters, pant wetters pant wetters" oh ok then Eddie what''s your opinion on this or that??? " your a pant wetter, pant wetter pant wetter " lol what a joke

I knew that eventually it''d come down to that, Nige.

On any forum, once you''ve lost the argument, the knee-jerk reaction is to lash out and call everyone else a troll.

As for whether I''m a "fun poster", well it''s not for me to say. I''d hope that I try to see other points of view, without pedantry. Also, I can categorically state I''ve never called anyone a troll, binner, or pant-wetter.

It all depends on the nature of the loss. If it is a bad one that looks like he has lost the players, then I would say cut our losses and thanks, but there''s the door Chris.

A hard fought draw would keep me onside. Just.

Agree with the voice of reason.

Since I''ve posted on this thread, but haven''t yet answered Rudolph''s original question my response is this (it''s similar to quite a lot of other responses).

I don''t believe that Hughton should be sacked if we lose against Cardiff - unless it''s a truly catastrophic loss of the Colchester 7-1 variety.

Now there''s a strange quirk of fate Reggie. I''ve never called anybody a pant wetter either. Which is why I called the poster a troll. Whether he''s also a binner I wouldn''t know.

Now what have I ever called you? I think you will find it was me that was called names on this thread. So why spend so long elaborating on something that hasn''t happened?

The difference between losing and not winning is huge and cannot be called pedantry. Rudolph had the chance to clear it up but preferred to accuse me of deliberately mis-interpreting what he said.

I''ll be looking more at the quality of the play than the result and getting a draw wouldn''t be the end of the world. Even a loss would only mean we had 7 from 9, hardly a disaster when compared to the teams immediately above and below. In little over a year we''ve gone from gung-ho to ultra-defensive to balanced, and the team has shown definite signs of improvement since we''ve had the cash to spend. Maybe we''re just about where we should expect to be?

Well, I tap out these posts on an iPhone and with the limited ability to review there will be errors. So what.

For me the Cardiff game is a ''must win'' and a draw or loss would regrettably for me mean CH and his coaches have to go.

Others might evaluate it differently, ie a draw or the manner of a defeat.

It''s a forum post Nigel, I''m not drawing you a Will or writing statute. But at least it served to get you the attention and sense of persecution you desire. In that respect you have a lot in common with Wiz.

Happily I think Norwich will win. I certainly hope we do but one thing nags (no, not you Nigel) the thing that nags is that certain players and managers suit certain clubs.

Lambert can''t stop winning at FCR even as an opposition manager, he slotted in from the start as did Culverhouse, again, and Crook when he was here. Holt is another great example along with the likes of Russell Martin and at this point I''d like to apologise to Nigel for not providing a comprehensive list.

But other people never seem to belong, like Roeder, players we can all identify and IMO Chris Hughton.

I remember Malky scoring his first Norwich goal and celebrating in front of The Barclay, he became part of the furniture quickly and his departure has always felt wrong and unnatural.

Malky might just do a Lambert on Saturday.

NB This message contains a point of pedantry for Nigel to find. Please refrain from pointing it out as this is for Nigel alone.

Odds are, that a loss to Man City would mean he has to beat West Ham to save his job. Reality of a Prem Manager I''m afraid. Win all three and he will raise a glass and consider himself safe for at least 6 more games .

I fail to understand what people can''t grasp about a results based, 90m turnover industry.

Sorry Nige, but, regrettably, I''ve come to the same conclusion as clearly several others have...ie it''s really self-defeating to get involved in these sort of discussions with you as you invariably turn it into an argument and make it personal.

There IS a place for accuracy, but not one for pedantry, and this is a trait you seem to specialise in, it seems.

We all have our faults and little foibles, but I''m afraid what you display on here borders on the petulant.

So, thanks but no thanks.

Oh well...

Despite only ever posting criticisms on here I''m sure when it comes down to it Rudolph, Reggie and Indy will be there on Saturday supporting Hughton''s yellow army.

I will be there as normally Nutty and if you care to read posts you will see I am behind Hughton even though I have doubts and criticisms and as normal fully behind the players as all Norwich fans are.

Only ever posting criticism, shows your true nature towards psoters who you have disagreements with, you don''t read the threads in full Mr Merldrew.

The Hughton situation is looking like the end of the worthy era. You could feel that judgement day was coming and you knew it was just a matter of time. The burnley game when the doc rugby tackled their player you new that was the decisive moment. Cardiff defeat would be Hughtons. It is now just a matter of time

I doubt it. But then neither was I. It''s funny how things can appear to people on here though. Because to me you appear to think your better than me by coming to this thread simply to criticise me. The op always appears to me that he thinks he''s superior, not just to other posters but to people at the club too. But it may just be he has an arrogant style. Brownie, if you weren''t rying to be superior then why did you just comne on this thread to put me down?

So, there we have it. Nigel dislikes me through my arrogant style of prose (as he reads it).

My original post was clear enough but because Nigel dislikes me he came into this thread all critical and personal.

Never mind, it could be worse, I could be sitting next to him at FCR.

Now now Rudolph. I didn''t say I didn''t like you. I just don''t like some of the arrogant stuff you post. For instance I don''t think it enhances any opinion you may hold by regaling us with how fit you are or how many miles you pedal on your bike. I think it just makes you look a bit of a tit. But I love ya to bits and you don''t know if you''ve ever been beside me in The Barclay, or on Mascot Coaches or at any random away ground over the years. You won''t be likely to be sitting with me tomorrow but if you venture into the blankets stranger things have happened.

As for the post. You knew all along the point I was making. All this pretence that you didn''t is much the same as the pretence that I bet on Chris Hughton''s sacking the other day.
