Relegation scenarios explained!

Recommended Posts

It''s nice to think that to send us down, one of the three others will have to get a better result than us. Maybe they will, but when we kick off, the 0-0s will mean it''s us staying up...
it''d be nerve wracking to say the least, but I''ll settle for four 0-0s.

chile, i agree.

I myself think they are all going to be draws.

I can see norwich drawing 1-1, or maybe winning 1-0 but the rest all i can see is draws.

Maybe first whiz can have his say on this?

So, out of 10 possibilities, Norwich have 3/10 chances to succeed, Palace have 3/10, Southampton have 3/10 chances to succeed and WBA have just the single chance.

Interesting!

Andrew, you can''t really read that much into it. It certainly wasn''t exhaustive of the possibilities. These are just a few of the combinations that would keep us up...

wba (L)

norwich (D)*
soton (L)

etc. etc. etc. etc......

Combinations of results that keep up :

WBA  8

Palace  14

Saints  16

Norwich  37!  Thats why the bookies have made us favourites.

However, 27 of those 37 involve Norwich winning, which just goes to prove that we can''t rely on results elsewhere. Win and we stay up. Lose or draw and more than likely we''re relegated.
