chaywa 0 Posted November 3, 2013 I''m sensing some eerie parallels between that and Southamptons last season with Nigel Adkins - having the squad quality but not translating into results, leading to excuses and a loss of faith with many of the fans. The Potecchino deal was odd at the time but the shift in focus and belief has developed into a very strong and enjoyable Southampton squad to watch.I''d rather try someone completely different than a stale English manager (say Solskjaer?) should Hughton leave, but do we think the board would have the balls to try something this radical? Thoughts?
Winning 25 24 Posted November 3, 2013 No need to make a change yet chaywa. Just be more patient and relax! The manager is a fighter and he''ll get more games. Just a pity about the Tetty injury. Not his fault though is it? Not his fault are players are injured?
Hannibal II 0 Posted November 3, 2013 To start it should be our not are.to pick up on your other point neither Snodgrass nor Redmond should of been playing in the Mickey Mouse cup it should of been a chance to play the Murphy brothers in a competitive yet relatively inconsequential fixture to give them much needed experience. Adversely with this train of thought then yes it would be Hughton''s fault they got injured as they wouldn''t of been on the pitch to get hurt.

Zak Van Burger 0 Posted November 3, 2013 For every Southampton there''s a Wolves or a QPR in fact I''d hazard a guess there are far more clubs who don''t experience the Southampton effect than do.
