I know we are early in the season, but i think if we continue with Hughton, we are in trouble of staying in the bottom 3. Surely it would be better sacking him to get a more attacking manager and even if we do go down, we have tryed to score more goals and it makes better viewing on matchdays?

What happens if he wins at west ham ? Be very hard to sack someone after a win.

Will some be happy and think we will turn the corner ?

No, i''d definately not. I understand where you are coming from (a bit like when i''m losing 5-0 on footy manager and really want to bollock my players but then the grab a couple of goals back and i can''t really have as much of a go at them!) but West Ham at home, Palace at home and Newcastle away. 6 or 7 points from them games and we''ll be staring at the top 10.

As bad as it looks, it really is still close down there. I think the one gripe i really have is how boring our football is. If it means sustained premiership football for a while, i''m prepared to take it but it does wear my patience thinner with Hughton than it would if we were playing alright football and scoring a few even if we were losing.

In all fairness, the way the fixtures have fallen next Sat,(a lot of the lower teams are playing each other, and Fulham are away at L''pool) it makes it pretty impossible for the gap to get a great deal wider if we lose to West Ham. By the same token, even if we win, we are not going to go leaping up the table.

But, whoever is running the show, 3 pts v WHU is a must for me.
