ryanncfc 0 Posted September 30, 2013 this pre season! Quite a pointless thread, so apologies for that, but just thought that is quite an amazing stat for a club like ours!!
GenerationA47 751 Posted September 30, 2013 Where do we stand in UK-only terms? This is indeed astonishing although it really only reflects the level of catch-up we are playing (having to play), now we are effectively debt-free
wolleyneerg 0 Posted September 30, 2013 8th in premier league according to this tablehttp://www.fanatix.com/news/premier-league-table-by-net-spend-201314-chelsea-and-manchester-city-spend-big/146200/
T 190 Posted September 30, 2013 Reflects, the additional Premier League TV money. We still have the 17th largest playing budget in the premier league as other similar sized clubs benefit from wealthy benefactors hence the reason we will continue to probably struggle. However, with the 20m debt paid off and benefactors potentially reluctant to subsidize clubs as much then the financial gap is potentially reducing. There will be more clarity of our relative financial poisiton when accounts start being published at the end of the year.
The Great Mass Debater 1,081 Posted September 30, 2013 Does that include the RVW transfer fee? Everyone wants to include it in this seasons spending, but as we all know, it was from the season before. Kind of skews the figures
chicken 2,624 Posted September 30, 2013 Not only does it include RVW''s fee it also includes Garrido'' and so far as I can see total fees for players including add on''s etc.As I have said before, it would be interesting to see where we were across two summers as we spent less than £10million last summer didn''t we?
