nutty nigel 7,531 Posted September 30, 2013 What a brilliant weekend it has turned out to be. U18s beat Stoke on Saturday. First team won at Stoke live on tv on Sunday. And over both days Vindo had assembled a final six from our selections which gave us our second win of the season. Plenty of excitement on the last game too where we were all watching the livescore as Metalist went 1-0. 2-0, 2-1, 2-2, and finally 3-2! Great stuff Vindo, I know you enjoyed that! Hope the curry and beers went down a treat buddy. Unlucky with the match bet Killie. We got half the stake back and none of us minded losing the other half. We''ll soon be winning on those bets too PUPs. Terrific picking again this week. 43/56 (77%) PUPs forecast correctly and supplied 27 options of which 20(74%) won. There are still 9 PUPs with perfect 100% records. splutcho 173 Posted October 1, 2013 Grrr. Lazio threw away a 2-0 lead and I''m slipping down the table. Do I stop trying to find value and just ensure I keep in the top 40? Decisions decisions.
nutty nigel 7,531 Posted October 1, 2013 I always think the best thing we can do to help the week''s picker is to carry on with the same methods. I remember when Lapp won he asked me which picker it was who had been continually successful with away wins and then included that pick in his final selections. Likewise if you continue trying to find value if the week''s picker was looking for a value selection he could go to yours. If I notice something I will usually try to highlight it. This year Warren Hill has been successful with away wins.
