Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 7

Recommended Posts

Greetings PUPs and welcome to week 7 of the Rays Funds season. This week

we have Vindo in charge and making the final selections. Following on from the

great efforts of Snake and Mr Angry Vindo is also making the final selections

for the first time. Now I can tell you all that Vindo is coming into his week

in charge in the very best of form where he has selected 5 wins in the first 6

weeks. Vindo’s form added to the form of our group as a whole augers well this

weekend. It’s no secret that I believe this is our strongest ever team of PUPs

and I think we are in for a very successful season. Of course we always need

that bit of luck to get all 6 home but the wins will continue to come. Let’s

all help Vindo get the next win by giving him our best selections from this

weekend’s fixtures (Saturday/Sunday) that’s listed on the Bet365 web site.

Scooby, Sid and Mandie have already confirmed their weekends for October

just waiting for NWC now. What a strong line up this looks! : -

Oct  5th Scooby

Oct 12th Hissing Sid

Oct 19th NWC

Oct 26th Mandie Moo

This week we have Killie Canary in control of our new Norwich match bet

and I’m sure he’d be grateful for any suggestions we may make so click on the

match on bet365 and there are countless different angles to make the bet. Good

luck Fletch.

I have compiled another rota for this bet. Once again please indicate

with your picks if the dates are suitable.

5th  Oct Splutcho

19th Oct jb (confirmed)

26th Oct Chellecity

Just before we get on and Rays funds I hope yopu PUPs were as proud as

me when Josh Murphy came on and lit up Vicarage Road last night. I was lucky

enough to be there and it was a really special moment. On the way home I couldn’t

help reflecting on how we all helped with his development and wishing Arrdee

could have been there.

Now Ill hand the thread over to

Vindo. Remember theres no pressure

because we are all going to be doing our best to help you get your name in the Rays

Funds Hall of Fame. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money

for the Community Sports Foundation.

Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Kev ... the thread is

yours....... [:)]...

As always I leave you with

Rays signature which now reads :-

 Carve their names with

pride.Yankee,4,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,3,

Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,

Thanks very much for the intro Nigel, and I''m both delighted and honoured to have been given an opportunity to pick this week.

I will of course do my absolute best to pick a winning selection, and I look forward to considering the picks as they come in. When do you need the final selection Eddie?

And of course, best of luck to all.

To Ukraine.Metalist to win at home against Metalurh Zaporizhya.Top versus one from bottom.Metalist with a 5-0-0 home record and +12 home goal difference.Metalurh Zaporizhya with a 0-2-2 away record and -4 away GD.---For the Norwich City bet, I don''t believe in this for one moment, but the current odds on Stoke winning at half-time and the Canaries winning at full-time are an enticing 40-1.Good luck to all!

Just incase you didn''t get my private message Nutty, I''d be delighted to do the honours for the Norwich bet next week.

As for this week I''m going to Italy and I''m going for Lazio to win away. Lazio themselves are midtable having lost 2 and won 2, but they should still have too much for their opponents Sassuolo who are rock bottom, having lost all 4 games, scoring 1 goal and conceding 15. This includes a 7-0 defeat at home last week. All this for the very tasty odds of 8/11.

Sassuolo vs LAZIO - Away win - 8/11

As for the Norwich bet, I fancy us to have a slow start but to take something. So how about Stoke to be winning at half time, Draw at full time at 14/1

After being horribly let down by Helsingborgs last week, I''m off to the Bundesliga this week

Borussia Dortmund (5-1-0 16-5) v SC Freiburg (0-3-3 8-12) - Home Win

And for the NCFC 5er, how about RvW to score anytime at 5/2.

Best of luck Vindo, Killie and all you PUPs.

I did think about being boring this week and go for the obvious Man Utd Home win, but.....

that''s not me so I am going to go for Hartlepool v OXFORD UTD Away win. (Sorry Jeff)

Can''t believe I am recommending betting against my own team, but Stoke 1-0 and to make it worse that horrible binner Walters to score!

I feel so dirty now! [:$]

I''m with jb this week. Dortmund owe us a result and they should beat Freiburg who have yet to record a win this season. Dortmund have won the corresponding fixture 5-1, 4-0 and 3-0 in the last three seasons.

Borrussia Dortmund          v          Freiburg          Home Win

As for our game - Super Hooper impressed me at Watford and he''s now a goal scorer on form. But of course we don''t know if he''ll start. So I''d split the stake between 1st and last goal scorer both at 8/1 or the whole lot on him to score at anytime at 11/4. Wish I''d taken this advice on Tuesday when I only backed him to score first!

Good luck Vindo, Killie and all you PUPs.

Afternoon everyone.

Thanks for th chance to do the NCFC bet nutty - although I currently have no clue how the flipping game is likely to turn out! I need all the help I can get PUPs!

For Vindo, I would suggest a little look at the 2te Bundesliga this week - although the match isn''t until Monday evening so maybe that stretches it out a bit too far!

Table topping Greuther Fuerth face Dresden - without a win in 9 matches so far this season - at home.

Surely a home win for Fuerth? (Kiss of death on it now I suspect!)

Best of British Vindo.

Right then, I''m going for Valencia to beat Rayo Vallecano in Valencia, 2/7 odds don''t seem too bad for a win against the bottom side.

Good luck Vindo, and enjoy it, good luck all other PUPs too.
