Becchio to Leeds?

Its been well reported today that leeds tried to take him back on loan and where told hes not available.

He wont be going anywhere until jan me thinks and only then if we bring someone else in.

Too risky until we can find a replacement loanee. We can''t afford to have one or both main strikers injured/suspended and not have an experienced striker to step in.

[/quote]These pathetic posts drive me crazy,1. Clearly he does rate him otherwise he wouldnt have bought him2. We play a certain ''style'' which uses 1 striker, Knowing RVW was out, who would you have played Gary Hooper (Our 2nd ever most expensive transfer, who was coming back from injury, needed game time and may have a real impact in our first 11) or Luciano Beechio? Anyone with half a brain cell would play Hooper. And how did that work out? Scored twice and won us the game.Luciano must have known he would always be playing second fiddle at NCFC, he must be content with knowing he would have to work really hard and wait for his chance. There is a time and a place for him, he has not had that time nor place.

Becchio was a bit unfortunate in so much that he was the collateral in the deal to get Morison out of the club. His chances were limited last year, the arrival of RvW, Hooper and Elmander certainly won''t have improved those chances.

Some people will always wonder what might have been, Luciano included I suspect.

Clearly Hughton does not rate Becchio, otherwise he''d have used him ahead of Kei Kamara. 

If he rated Kei Kamara all that much he would have paid £800k for him.

If he rates Becchio as less useful than Kei Kamara, who he turned down the opportunity to sign for peanuts, then it isn''t looking good for Becchio is it?

On the flip side, hes kept Beechio, when he could have  KK ''who he turned down the opportunity to sign for peanuts''Im more than sure we could have offloaded Beechio to balace the payment of KK.
