Man Utd debutant tipped for England crazy or not?

Recommended Posts

I presume they mean the first team as they don''t tip players for U19, U20 or U21. Eighteen year old kid scores 2 goals to impress Hodgson maybe too early for Montenegro. But what is happening you now get a call up after a couple of first team games see Townsend, Barkley and Caulker to name a few. Why not Redmond surely wasting his time in the U21''s Ryan Bennett had a couple of good games but no mention he must be gutted.

It''s incredibly arrogant and presumptuous of the English press that they''d expect him to forego his right to play for Belgium to play for the mighty England considering Belgium have a far better national side and will continue to do so for at least the next decade or so.

Surely not a decade splutcho, with John Becks close involvement in FA coaching it is more likely to be at least 20 years, coming soon to Norwich!

"John Beck, one of the more infamous football managers of the past 30 years, has been taking a prominent role in the Football Association''s programme to bring through the next generation of coaches.

Beck, known for his almost obsessive devotion to route-one tactics, is being employed by the FA to help licensed and unlicensed coaches qualify for their badges despite his notorious reliance on long-ball football during a career that once saw him offering cash bonuses for whichever of his players at Cambridge United kicked the ball the furthest.

The Observer has discovered that the man who was once dubbed Dracula in football circles, because his critics accused him of sucking the life out of football, has established himself with the domestic game''s governing body and works on its Level 2 and Uefa B courses, with the responsibility to try to improve the standard of coaching throughout England and Wales. The FA Learning programme is based at St George''s Park in Burton and Beck''s next course begins in Norwich on 28 October."

Can he bowl offspin and bat a bit? We need a long-term successor to Swann and on the basis of that lineage he is more than qualified to play for England..

It happened with Raheem Sterling, Keiran Gibbs, Martin Kelly, Wilifred Zaha the second he signed for ManYoo and I think Andre Wisdom so unfortunately it''s not like there''s not a precedent. But Janujaz is definitely Belgian. The next ManYoo kid will be Jesse Lingard

Januzaj won''t play for Belgium - he hasn''t represented them at youth level so far and has rejected call-ups. He has expressed an interest in playing for Albania, which is where his parents are from. I''ve got no idea if he''s eligible to play for England, would have thought he hasn''t spent enough time here yet

Is Beck not the manager Hucks heavily criticised in his autobiography? His second manager at Lincoln?

I heard that Janujaz could be elligable to play for at least 1 of 11 different countries. How long will it be that the only qualification you need to play for a Counntry is to play there ?

I saw the thread title and wondered if you''d discovered an international version of our old friend, sparring partner and figure of fun Ipswichcrazy.

Wonder how the warped binner is getting on now his favourite hate figure has moved to Wigan?
