RvWs 4 year contract

Leroy in Holland squad!

Recommended Posts

Top quality, best midfielder ive seen play for us for along time. Dont expect it to be long before big boys come sniffing around for him, but at least when they do we will be looking for alot more than the 4 or 5 million we paid for him.

He does seem to be quite good at football from what I''ve seen.

to begin with I felt for him as the only reason he has been called is because of two midfield injuries. but then I realized I was being stupid. it doesn''t matter how or why he got called up, I''m sure he will make the most of it and impress to become a regular.

After a dismal start to the season by hopeless hughton the one ray of light has been Leroy Fer a real talent. Eventually hughton by the law of averages would have got something right ie recruiting Leroy. Hughton out

Indeed. My favourite Huns will need to beat them Dutch, with or without Leroy, in Amsterdam to qualify for the playoffs, and I have the feeling they''ll need a bit luck to do that!

Because, of course, the big clubs won''t have seen him play first-hand come January and everybody knows that their scouting networks only consist of watching international games. Stop it, Wiz; my sides are aching.Guffaw!

To be fair, Safri used to sneeze hard and get injured.

Its a fair point regarding bigger clubs and the same applies to to RVW and any other of the bigger foreign signings made by the, shall we say, lesser premier league teams. Come December when these players have had a few months and plenty of games at this level, then the bigger clubs will certainly be more interested in these players, providing they have cut it of course, than they would have been previously without really knowing how they would perform. They have big squads, so why not let the players they are unsure of move to a Norwich City or a Fulham, a Swansea first rather than just be a squad player, may cost a few extra million but those bigger clubs can afford to play that game. Just hope that Fer who is clearly an exceptional player and RVW (because he will come good and is clearly settling in) have good sell-on clauses with a high minimum release clause in their contracts.

When we go down Mark (if we stick with Hughton!) Fer and Wolf will be the first in line with their transfer request.

I would hope and expect that there are no sell on clauses in either of their contracts.
