The mentality of Hughton

Recommended Posts

On MOTD quote "at 2-1 down you have a decision to make. Do you stick with what you''ve got or go for it".

That Hughton had to think about whether or not to try and get a result is indicative of the negativity shown by this man. OK he ''went for it'' and made changes which didn''t pay off.

But to consider it? This man is a clown and must go.

I assume he meant do you stick with the players and tactics and try to nick a point or do you change things and go for a possible win.

But hey, whatever suits your agenda, buddy.

It seems the better the squad we have the worse we are for it...

Objectively you could say: do you stick with a team and set up which has just come back from 2-0 to 2-1 with like for like changes for any player genuinely blown or do you change shape and tactics completely with lots of time left?

Looks like the actions of a desperate man.

Call me crazier than a really crazy person who''s just gone a little bit nutty but I''m actually glad Chris Hughton thinks about team selection and a little surprised he might be criticised for doing it.
