Rays Funds for the CSF with the Pink un Pickers Week 10

Recommended Posts

Greetings PUPs and welcome to week 10 of the Rays Funds season. This

week it’s the turn of NWC to be in charge and make the final selections. This

is the 3rd season NWC has been with us and his second time in the

hot seat. I’ve been looking forward to his week since last season when Celtic

threw away their lead against Hibs to leave NWC with a very unlucky 5 from 6! I’ll

bet you haven’t forgiven them yet Marcus!! So this time let’s all do our very

best to help NWC go one better and record our third winning week of the season.

Don’t forget for your game to be considered it must be played Sat/Sun/Mon and

be listed on Bet365 or William Hill web site. I’m allowing Bet365 again because

it was brought to my attention how slow Hills are putting up odds for some of

the less popular leagues. Whenever possible I will then place the bet with Bill

Hill.

I’m really excited by the start we’ve made this season. Not just with

the two wins from our main bets but also the ingenuity shown by our PUPs making

the new NCFC match bet. We have already had a win and it gives the chance for

more of our PUPs to have a greater involvement in the thread. This week’s game

is an exciting one at the Emirates and we have jb in charge of our fiver. I’m

sure he’ll be grateful for your suggestions. So many options are available if

you open up the Arsenal v Norwich match window on Bet365. Jb can then choose if

he goes with a suggestion/suggestions made or goes with his own. Good luck jb,

remember the bet can be a single £5 or divided into up to five individual £1 bets.

I’ve provisionally arranged the rota for November as follows : -

02/11/13 Herman

09/11/13 Kathy

16/11/13 NCFCStar

23/11/13 Mandie Moo’s Mear Kat

30/11/13 Inch High

And for the NCFC match bet : -

02/11/13 I’m A Banana

09/11/13 AJ

23/11/13 DDD

30/11/13 CD Mullins

As usual please let me know if these dates are ok.

Now Ill hand the thread over to NWC.

Remember theres no pressure because we are

all going to do our best to help you get your name in the Rays Funds Hall of Fame.

We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community

Sports Foundation

Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Marcus ... the thread is

yours.......[:)].........

As always I leave you with

Rays signature which now reads :-

Carve their names with

pride.Yankee,4,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,3,

Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim,

Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary, Cosmic Twin, Graham Humphrey,

Leedscanary,2, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox, Lappinitup,

Statto, Mandie Moo, Mr Bump, Kathy, Til1010, Snake-eyes, Vindo yes

Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy, and £118 for the Community Sports Foundation.

And with the Norwich match

bet. Splutcho, yes PUPs £10.50 for the CSF making a total of £2167 raised in

total so far.

I''m getting in early this week, Goteborg to beat Osters at home in Sweden. Goteborg are 2nd while Osters are 2 off the bottom. Odds od 3/10 seem generous.

Best of luck to all PUPs and especially NWC.

My away selection this week is:

West Ham v MAN CITY

West Ham got an unbelievable result against Spurs and will crash back to earth with a resounding thud this week.

For the Norwich bet, hmmm, it''s a toughie. I''d maybe have small stakes on the draw and us winning, RVW anytime has been suggested but how about Bassong or Turner anytime? Set pieces will represent a decent chance for us and both centre halves are capable and due.

Good evening Nutty, very good luck to you NWC and to all you other PUPs out there.

Don''t think I have ventured over to Austria before so can I go for a HOME WIN please for RED BULL SALZBURG v Wacker Innsbruck.

Now then good luck to you jb with the City game and how about Arsenal to be winning at half time but the game to finish a draw at odds of 18/1 ?

Scottish League Division 2 for me. East Stirling (top) at home to Queens Park (bottom). What can possibly go wrong? Home win .

As for City''s game I fancy City to shock the Gooners and get a 1-1 draw with RVW scoring. Good luck NWC and all the PUPs.

It would be a pleasure to take over the Norwich Match Bet in November Nutty, thank you very much!

As for my pick this week,

Wolves vs Coventry - HOME WIN

Wolves sitting pretty in third with a game in hand, conceded just 8 goals so far, scoring twenty.

Good luck everyone!

For the Norwich pick, I echo Tilly with putting a quid on Arsenal to be winning, game to finish a draw

Real Madrid have already failed to win twice this season, giving Barca an early 5 point lead, so I expect them to beat Malaga at home. Malaga are in midtable, haven''t won away from home, but have drawn three of their four trips so its slightly risky but with Bale a possibility and Ronaldo not playing on Tuesday I think Madrid will easily have enough.

Norwich 2-1 is 28/1 thats would i''d suggest for this weeks Norwich bet!!

And its:

Real Madrid vs Malaga- Home win.

Good luck :)

It is fitting that I should be asked to take charge of the Norwich bet for the Crystal Palace games, as I will be at Carrow Road (Leedscanarybinner permitting) for my first home game since we drew to WBA 0-0 in the Huckerby days! Although I did play at Carrow Road last May.Legia Warsaw for me please, a 90th minute equaliser cost me by 100% record last weekend so Im out to make ammends

For the Norwich bet, my heart is saying we''ll get a 0-0, head is saying we might take a batteringSo split stakes on Under1.5 goals and Over 3.5 goals

League Two where bottom club Accrington (without a win) entertain third placed Oxford Utd. Accrington v Oxford Utd.......Away win.Good luck NWC. [Y]For the Norwich bet, Hooper to score anytime. (if we''re behind at half-time I think he''ll be brought on early). Should be good odds too. Good luck jb.

Thanks for the intro Nutty, and the support from the rest of you crazy pups!!!I''ll keep the final choice until tomorrow afternoon, but my personal nap would be for Chelsea to beat Cardiff.Good luck Splutcho in the ncfc bet - my choice would be for our own Snodgrass to score at anytime. He''s not afraid to have a dig and always (rightly or wrongly) takes the deadball shots, and at 6-1 that''s a pretty good price.Keep the naps coming!
