Yellow Wal 314 Posted August 25, 2013 With Pilkington injury prone, Bennett injured for some time we are now down to Redmond and Snodgrass.Snodgrass is not a pacy winger who hits the line and gets in crosses and Redmond is still inexperienced. It all very well saying we have other players who can play there but we saw yesterday what happens when that is tried with Howson''s performance yesterday on the right. We were short of pace last season and we have lost pace as an alternative this season with Elliot Bennett''s injury. We need a replacement for the squad before the deadline. Joanna Grey 0 Posted August 25, 2013 It''s quite simple, Redmond works best on the right, Olsson on the left. That''s how we should have started yesterday.

Olsson is a full back who can play on the wing ..................... there is a difference (but I would agree about yesterday).I still feel we need another specialist winger. Play him on the left and he cuts in, and cuts in, and cuts in (get the picture) and sometimes shoots, not that he''s troubled anyone yet, or passes square. Then, off we go to the other wing for more of the same from Snodders. Now, play him on the right, and I don''t think you''ll find a left back who can keep up, he gets to the by line, hits it accross the 6 yard, chips to the back post, pulls it back to the onrushing midfield .......See a picture forming??? CHANCES CREATED !!!Most teams would love to have a player with the pace and trickery of Redmond. We have him and don''t F******G USE HIM!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRant over.Oh yes, and Olsson on the left mid please. He was excellent against the Greeks in the first half and worked very well with Garrido..No need for another winger.
