Mahogany 0 Posted August 25, 2013 Didn''t a number of our signings sight Hughton being our manager as a reason for them signing for us? Redmond and Bassong for a start. While he needs to work on his tactics he''s clearly well liked by the players. Not sure sacking him would be good for morale. If we haven''t won a game by Christmas lets revisit this conversation for now lets give the new players some time to bed in. Crispy 4 Posted August 25, 2013 Under Hoots we play well against teams with struggle in big games and play poorly away in games on paper we should win.We are also creating less chances and playing un-attractive football. Becoming a Bolton / Stoke type of team. The positive Hoots brings ?- Well organised when it matters, difficult to break down (when Bassong is playing)- Sign players of calibre.- Play well against teams of higher stature even getting results. (only Chelsea and Liverpool have we failed to get points from)- Become an established club.I am still undecided on wether I want Hoots as a manager, as much as I think he is a step forward. His tactics are not pretty for the fans.Malky manage us in 1 year anyone ?
