nutty nigel 7,509 Posted September 4, 2013 Greetings PUPs and welcome to week 4 of the Rays Funds season. I’m earlier this week because it’s international weekend and we want to include Friday evenings games. We have the perfect PUP for this challenge with Beauseant in charge and making the final selections. Beau is one of the most consistent PUPs we’ve ever had. A previous champion he’s always been above 80% challenging in the other years. Robin is also always very supportive of Rays Funds and also a very knowledgeable poster on the message board who doesn’t post nearly enough for me. The one thing missing from Beau’s impressive Rays Funds CV is a place on Ray’s signature. We can all help put that right by giving him our very best selections for this weekend. As I said Friday evening international fixtures are acceptable this weekend but we don’t have to choose an international game. Any other fixture can be considered so long as it’s a game from this weekend’s fixtures (Friday evening/Saturday/Sunday) and be listed on the Bet365 web site. PUPs selecting for the next three weeks are : -Sept. 14th Snake-eyesSept. 21st Mr AngrySept. 28th Vindo Thanks very much for your donations and please keep them coming. So far I have received 16 donations but obviously we need more than that to get through the season. For those who I won’t see personally the paypal details are canaryeddie@aol.com. This is also my email address if anyone wants to contact me. Remember if you’re thinking about taking part this isn’t pay to play. Try it and see how it goes. Then if you want to make a donation in the future you can. But obviously we rely on the tenners to keep us going. I’m happy that there’s agreement from you PUPs and the football club that we raise funds for the CSF. It’s great to have made the transition with our team of PUPs and our great relationship with the football club undamaged. Now for something really exciting. One of our PUPs, who wishes to remain anonymous, is funding a new bet for the season. From next week we will have a £5 bet to be used on the Norwich game. Click on the fixture on the bet365 web site and there’s a whole range of possibilities to bet on. The PUP choosing the bet each weekend can spend the £5 however they like. It can be anything from a simple £5 W/L/D to splitting the stake between correct scores or goalscorers, halftime/fulltime, goal times and so on. It will be their £5 to play with as they like and of course all winnings will go to the CSF. This will be an entirely different rota from the main bet and will initially involve PUPs who won’t be making the final selections this season. Now we’d better get on and Rays funds! So I’ll hand the thread over to Beauseant. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you get your name in the Rays Funds Hall of Fame. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for our great clubs academy. Good luck all you PUPs... Take it away Robin ... the free bet is yours.......[:)].... As always I leave you with Rays signature which now reads :- Carve their names with pride.Yankee,4,Fellas,3,P''boro,2,Mr Chops,2,NewYork,2, Inch High,3, Blahblahblah, NCFC_Shaun, 1st Wazzock,3, Fonejacker,3, Norfolkbroadslim, Norfolkchance1,2, Scooby,3, Trent Canary, Cosmic Twin, Graham Humphrey, Leedscanary,2, NcfcStar, Herman, Delia’s Devonshire Dirtbox, Lappinitup, Statto, Mandie Moo, Mr Bump, Kathy, Til1010 yes Norfolkchance1 £2038 for the Academy,so far. killiecanary 0 Posted September 4, 2013
I''ll go with a very strong Belgium side to win away in Scotland - 8/11
Oi! Not liking that....With our Russ, Whitts and Snoddy in our team? Shame on you Splutcho! I would like to recommend the Czech Republic as a good bet for a home win v Armenia this weekend. Scotland to take a plucky point from the all-conquering Belgians too (although I''d be less keen to put money on that one!!)

R Mellie 0 Posted September 4, 2013 I was going for an England win, but seeing a picture of Rooneys good looks marred by that gash down his enormous planky forehead has given me the jitters, also its already been picked so in the interests of providing a little choice... Off to WC Qualifying Group D for me please - Estonia v Netherlands AWAY win. After my abysmal initial pick last week being two weeks early, I''ve checked and checked and checked, and I am confident that this is being played on Friday 6th September!! Good luck to all, especially Beausant.
