The more DiCanio can undermine his teams''s morale and get poor results, the better for all other Premiership teams. Hopefully, he is this years Mark Hughes and will both wreck the club and leave a poison chalice for his successor.

So, for now, taking into account he has bought a lot of players, who will need time to settle in, the board will likely give him time to start making things tick. 10 games max though. Tetteys Jig 830 Posted September 9, 2013 All the main guys were away on international duty. Imagine us playing a game using the likes of Fox, Butterfield etc. and losing to a team not even in league football... unthinkable right?I honestly think that if Sunderland can get a couple of wins under their belt quickly, they will be fine, as will Di Canio. He is crazy and a bit of a loon but he is very rarely wrong.

Syteanric 1 Posted September 9, 2013 it''s a matter of "when" not "If" with Di Canio...it really is game by game with him isn''t it? if they lose this week then i''d give him one more....
Yellow Submarine 0 Posted September 10, 2013 Di Canio is loose canon! I think the Swindon chiefs said he manages by chucking grenades and everyone else are left to pick up the pieces.
