On further investigation looking at other sites with pitch size information, Pat Nevin''s report is not wholly accurate. But, it is an interesting piece and on investigation I found out that the Carrow Road pitch is really the average size and matches the size of Arsenal and Sunderland and a couple of others I seem to remember.

I think I recall that City''s new pitches will be of different sizes to help training for the variable pitch sizes, somebody can clarify this for me I''m sure or, perhaps I imagined it? But, I guess pitch size can/does impact team selection, particularly in respect of who you play behind your front player and out wide.
